Easy Chicken 65 Recipe

Hey guys,

I have currently gotten into cooking more by myself and experimenting my own ways and techniques to cook some good food that is fast and delicious as well.
Chicken 65 is easy to make, does not require 65 different spices and is absolutely divine.

Cook Time: 20-30 minutes
Serves: 4

  • Boneless Chicken - 2 lbs
  • Cornflour - 2 tsp
  • Egg - 1
  • Salt - 2 tsp
  • Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 tsp
  • Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Black Pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger Chopped - 1 tsp
  • Garlic Chopped - 1 tsp
  • Green Chilli - 4
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Red Food Colour - 2 drops
  • Coriander Leaves (to garnish)

Cut the chicken into small cubes and place them into a large mixing bowl. Add half of the salt, black pepper and ginger garlic paste to the chicken.  Add cornflour and the egg to the chicken. Mix it all well.
Take some oil in a frying pan, enough to deep fry the chicken. Slowly add the chicken to the pan when the oil is hot. Make sure you don't overcrowd the pan. Do it in 2 batches if your pan is smaller. Fry on medium-hot heat till the chicken is golden. After that, set aside the chicken on a towel to cool.
Take about 2 tbsp oil in a frying pan and saute the chumin seeds, chilli powder, green chillies and rest of the salt black pepper and ginger garlilc paste. Add the fried chicken to the sauce and add the food colouring. Garnish with the coriander leaves. Serve hot with fried rice or naan.
